Dr. N.R. Coury, a retired physician and founder of Mount Carmel Assisted Living, developed a behavior management program that recognizes the profound effect that Alzheimer’s and dementia can have on an individual. His methodology aims to ensure that the needs of each patient are immediately addressed, that physical illnesses are treated, and that each patent is approached with kindness, understanding and gentleness.
